Probably no more than would have burned down anyway from everyone smoking inside them.
They had incinerators in women’s bathrooms for burning sanitary pads, before tampons came around.
Safety was their number one priority, which is why they used plenty of asbestos inside each machine.

And great depression thing … and then the world war 2 thing … and the Spanish flu and world war 1 only about a decade before.
You can imagine a future person looking at a video of someone with a fidget spinner and thinking “life really was easy back then.”
Every generation has different luxuries and problems.
Guess you don’t have to try hard to sell a product if people are addicted to it, be they cigarettes or fidget spinners.
Strangely enough, I almost never see fidget spinners anymore, and I work with kids. I do keep having to pick cigarette butts off the ground tho (not from the kids).
My daughter has dozens of the things, but she also has ADHD and anxiety and they help her focus.

I can’t quite tell because the picture pixelizes quickly when zoomed, but that cigarette looks like a mostly smoked butt.

Pre-lit firecrackers, how chaotic
Somebody told me once that cigarette paper contains what is basically gunpowder, which is why it burns continually and makes it burn quickly when smoking it. I don’t know if that’s true, but maybe there’s a connection there.
I’d bet Snoop Dogg would love one of these.
Wouldn’t he prefer one that dispensed lit joints?
I’m sure that’s the first thing he’d fill it with. His personal joint roller would probably be able to go on vacation once in awhile too.
