This is the point where the pet owner teaches the kitten not to bite so hard. If the human has any idea what they are doing.

I start yelling oww and acting hurt. If the cat is grown, but not super violent, I’ll scream oww in an annoying tone and shove the spot they bit or scratched into their face for a few seconds. Then I’ll do it again a few seconds later. It probably sounds crazy, but I’ve raised multiple cats, and one of my friends said the one we adopted from her is a lot less violent and mean now.

One of the cats likes to be on our shoulders, but she knows she’s not supposed to jump up there unless we have a shirt on.

It’s what we’ve been doing with our little cat! And she’s been getting so much better! When she first got here she used her claws so much. Now though? So soft! Such a good baby.

Idk, but my first thought was that this cat looks uncannily like Huey Freeman. I think it’s the eyebrows

I once had to baby sit a new kitten that one of my nieces got. I had to hold on to the little kitty for about two days while the owners had to travel and move around before they got settled and took the kitten back.

At first I thought the kitty was cute and we held and cuddled it and took care of it. It was lonely all the time so we had to make a box and let it sleep with us at night. No big complaints until day two.

I wear jeans most of the time and on day two I noticed scratch marks all over my legs. The kitten kept jumping on me climbing and wanting to sit on my lap. At the time, I thought it was cute … but later realized this thing is using me as a scratch post!

It made me realize the truth of an old description I heard about cats.

They are furballs with hidden razor blades.

You get drawn in to want to hold and cuddle a cute little plushy soft thing … only to realize that there are sharp objects hidden underneath.
