The author announced in a Saturday post to X, formerly Twitter, that she would be founding the J.K. Rowling Women’s Fund, using her personal fortune. The website for the group states that it “offers legal funding support to individuals and organisations fighting to retain women’s sex-based rights in the workplace, in public life, and in protected female spaces.”
“I looked into all options and a private fund is the most efficient, streamlined way for me to do this,” she said. “Lots of people are offering to contribute, which I truly appreciate, but there are many other women’s rights orgs that could do with the money, so donate away, just not to me!”
Every dollar you spend on anything Harry Potter goes straight into this.
I’m surprised there hasn’t been something bigger and better than Harry Potter at this point. Surely somebody can write a better wizard fantasy, right?

The only thing that gives me some satisfaction when I read anything about this horrific bully is that there’s no way she’s happy. People who live a happy and fulfilled life just don’t do this kind of stuff. I doubt any outside force will ever adequately punish her for all the evil she has caused but at least I rest a bit easier being sure that her mind is a sad place to be indeed.

Please do not equate having heinous world views with mental illness, such things are just harmful to those who are actually mentally ill. Also, it was always there in her writing all along. No she’s a product of a white colonialist world view, just like the rest of them.
