Luckily, that’s what the internet is good for in that situation. So many amazing VR and gaming/VC celebrations with my friends.

The internet doesn’t magically make you good at making friends tho :(

You got this champ, here’s some tips:

Step 1: Be nice to those you play games with or chat to in a discord server

Step 2: Ask if they’d like to play together or add you as friend to hang out in the future

Step 3: Hang out with new friends and enjoy having company while you’re online

        You can do it!

Thanks for thinking so highly of me, but I never chat on discord (except for rare occasion) and it’s the same with the few mp games I play. I have pm about 3 people and it has always led to me blocking them because I got scared, even when I genuinely adored that other person.

You have a special interest in something that you can’t help being interested in. Find a server about that topic and hang out watching the conversation until you feel comfortable interjecting. Can chill in there for weeks just lurking, remember that the stakes are incredibly low in online spaces.

I’m not sure what your budget precisely would be, but there’s plenty of both refurbished and budget headsets available that you can connect to your desktop, if you already have a gaming PC.

my Pc is a Lenovo desktop for creatives from 2018 (Has a RadeonRX 560 as graphic card) and the store were we bough it seemingly had it for 2 years with out selling it. I live in south america so even getting budget stuff is harder than most of north american and european countries.

Ah, so you’re probably VRAM bottlenecked. You’d probably be best off getting a Quest 2 refurbished, since it has both standalone and PC connectivity.

If that requires a Meta account pretty much I won’t be able to use it. I don’t even feel like to create a secret account only for that.

That’s true - you’re probably stuck between a rock and a hard place then. Meta is basically the only manufacturer running in the non-used budget category, and all of their competitors are not standalone headsets (or really budget unless you count old used stock), and your PC may not have high enough specs to drive one.

Hopefully once you’ve got money to spare, you can get a PC-centric headset at some point.
