This is Trump seeking opportunities for further military deployment in democratic-run cities and states.

So the options are:

1. His feelings got hurt that nobody attended his taxpayer-funded birthday party and instead protested him across the country, so he’s going to make himself feel better by more abject cruelty;
2. Los Angeles’ predominantly peaceful protests didn’t give him a proper pretext to declare martial law and complete domestic deployment of the military, so he’s going to keep trying until there’s a suitably violent confrontation;
3. Both 1 and 2.

at this point, its going to affect how many democrats are alive to vote next election

All that talk of businesses getting him to pullback was just wishful thinking?

I would venture the guess that this is a move meant to cripple the economies of blue cities and states.

Basically, the administration figured out that Trump’s policies are poison for the economy, so they are applying them selectively.
