It’s just so heartwarming. Imagine being told 100 times over the course of 8 years that if you point a gun at your own foot and pull the trigger that you will have shot yourself in the foot. Refusing to believe that you pull the trigger, and then cry and beg for sympathy as your foot gushes blood.
The details are brutal in their simplicity. Janet Correa’s husband, unnamed in most reports, had been navigating the legal labyrinth of U.S. immigration for years. There’s the root cause. Next time, don’t expect the system to have any loyalty towards anyone.
The root cause is that she believed loyalty should play any part. Dollars to donuts she still believes loyalty should matter more than meritocracy.

When the news of him getting deported hit the internet, social media, ever merciless, had a field day.
After a double take, “Works like a mule” means workhorse , not drug smuggling

I first read it as “works as a mile”. And thought he was smuggling drugs too.
This is what happens when you support evil. There are lawful deportations, this gong show is anything but.

I know that a lot of people are wrongfully being detained, but this feels so right.
