Fuck off Hillary. Nobody asked you. You fumbled 2016 and gave us this asshole in the first place, and you should have the decency to hide in shame the rest of your miserable life.

She can express it, but she needs to be prepared to be reminded that she was uniquely able to lose to trump in 2016, and her stealing the nomination from Sanders is one major contribution to why we are here

There’s a lot more reasons why we’re here than Hilary Clinton. If you can’t get over it we’re going to keep backsliding, again, and again, if we ever even make it out alive

The same Wikileaks documents also show that Hillary and the DNC rigged the primary against Bernie (very briefly mentioned in the article).

My favorite is the Bernie folks filed a lawsuit against the DNC for unfair practices against Bernie, and the court threw it out because as a private group the DNC could do whatever they want.

                    This isn’t what actually happened.

                    What happened was worse.

The DNC made the argument they didn’t need to follow their own rules because they were a private organization.

To me that is far worse.

She made Trump her pied piper because he was the only one she had a shot against and then she failed. Trump is quite literally Hillary Clinton’s fault. He would not have won 2016 if she hadn’t narcissistically demanded that it was her turn to be president.

That path doesn’t involve the DNC. Look at how they treated David Hogg, of all people.

The tea party had a lot of astroturfing. Again we look at how Sanders, AOC, and Hogg are treated to see how the structural power of the part will be turned against those that push back even a bit on their insular geriatric views. I see value in what you’re describing, I think I just see transforming the democratic party as more of a trap of energy than causing the needed change that people actually want.

If the party is determined to keep making the same mistakes that they never addressed, they will continue losing. They seem fine with that.

Hillary and DWS stole DNC money and funneled it all to her campaign, and then rigged the nom on top with the superdelegates. If you don’t consider that stolen, maybe it is you who should also consider “being serious.”

I’m also not the biggest Hillary fan, but she was uniquely positioned to be undeniably the most highly-qualified candidate for US President in history, having had experience as a US senator, First Lady, and Secretary of State…

So it’s not like she was a bad candidate (although I too would have preferred Bernie).

And hot take: what the DNC did to David Hogg is more overt that what they did to Bernie. I’m fucking done with this stupid party. Consider me radicalized.

DNC are controlled opposition, we’ll never escape fascism by supporting Democrats.

The true radicalization is when you realize that being “highly-qualified” for the presidency should be disqualifying as it means you’re so well entrenched in the particular brand of pre-Trump American fascism.

Eh. Trump is very poorly qualified. Between the two main candidates in 2016, the choice was obvious. Policy aside, I still value competence as well.

Yes, I do want to see the democratic party shift left, work to repeal citizens united, all that. But I also think that actually being good at your job is important as well. If we elect a firebrand who’s radical, but who doesn’t know the constitution or how government works, then we risk just becoming Left MAGA (like MAGA but with guillotines). Which, ok, that would be an improvement over where we are now, but still.

Trump is absolutely poorly qualified, and terrible beyond that. I think fundamentally I believe more in politics and values than competence in navigating the systems of a white supremacist country.

With regards to a ‘left maga’ you say but still, but still what? If someone broke norms, rules, even laws in service of dismantling the prison industrial complex, jailed politicians in service of making right the genocide in Gaza, or instituted a state of emergency over climate change to align with the scientific consensus, would you argue that the norms of our country are more important?

She lost to trump. The only reason she’s not the single worst candidate in US history is because Harris lost to him by a larger margin after everyone already knew what he was about.

The Clinton campaign in 2008 boosted the birther conspiracy shit that trump rode to power.

Her 2016 campaign boosted the man himself because she thought he would be easier to beat than Jeb Bush.
