Texas doesn’t have registered Democrats because you specify a party affiliation when you register to vote in Texas.
How does “affiliating while registering” not equate to “registering as?”
Texas did in fact purge voter rolls in the lead up to the election, though it was months, not days, prior, and I haven’t seen evidence of it being predominantly aimed at Democrats. However, the state does know what primary you voted in and can use that to formulate a “potential Democrat” list.

they know which counties leans democrats, thats how they target thier voter suppression methods there.
That was a mistake in my original post. I meant to say that you DON’T specify a political affiliation when you register.
