So I was just messing around in the steam app and I came across steam points. Are these new? It seems to indicate I can use them for games but I don’t see any options. I have a quarter of a million of them. Are they useful in any way?

The smart thing to do is to spend them on seasonal badges, increasing your badge level.
If you care about that sort of thing I suppose it would be. I’m just on steam to play games the rest seems pointless and I honestly forget it even exists until someone mentions it.
I’ve gotten a handful of free games from selling boosters, and the higher your level the bigger the booster chance is.
Well now I’m a little intrigued, I may have to look into that I have like 2 million steam points I might as well make them useful.
