I actually disagree, Elon has been a high profile, staunch supporter of the Republicans and Trump for a while now and was at a high level position with a lot of influence on the government (head of DOGE), and still has significant influence on Republicans, I think it’s only natural to ask someone like that their opinions on government policy.
They’re correct. But neither is he a space or engineering expert, so maybe we should just ignore his opinions on those things entirely as well.
