A semi-rude term for someone from France, where frog legs are on some menus.
Side note: I’m not the least bit French, but had frog legs at an upscale French bistro once and they were delicious.
But why slur french in this context?
He’s probably European. My first guess was German, because some of us never forgave them for the french revolution, humiliation by Napoleon, the treaty of Versailles or a mix of all of them.
