Even though Dune: Awakening hasn’t fully launched yet, it’s already pulling in a huge crowd on Steam. On June 5, the game reached almost 100,000 people
I saw an early invite only alpha and it looked amazing. A month or so ago i saw a vlosed beta and the game looked very… Different. The animations looked worse and the textures looked cheap.
You sure that guy wasn’t playing on a potato? (Or a brand new Nvidia 5060Ti 8GB?) Low VRAM makes a lot of games look like crap, because it’s either dropping textures or running like ass when you overflow VRAM.
From what i read the on set playtesting pc’s were absolute monsters to keep up wuth the game. Not sure about the streamers i saw, but they usually don’t play on potatoes. I’m still on the fence, the game looks pretty fun.
