Don’t be fooled. The Dems used the same tools to their advantage before Trump. Its just not as blatantly illegal as it is now. They allowed these arms of the federal government to grow.

The key difference that your awful take misses is the difference between the center-right and conservatives. The center-right will support business and capital far more than it should and will drag its heels on things like worker’s rights but progress can be made. Conservatives, on the other hand, are angry, fear-driven morons who cause real, direct physical harm to people for he crime of being not who their deranged leaders prefer.
Centrists are worthless and their inaction leads to real consequences but it is the Conservatives’ action that makes them so especially violent and dangerous and as much as the centre-right does nothing they, ultimately, are not the ones causing the right to commit these atrocities.
