They’re for sure bought but giving up their own power means they can’t be bought again because why would anyone? Historically courts and government officials generally when relieved by bribery kill themselves or see themselves in court for bribery in a much more rigged court. Authoritarianism is pretty vicious to those involved especially if you’re higher up and can’t manage to stay in office.
To achieve the “America they’ve longed to have” and fear they have lost by virtue of all the “liberal shit” that has happened in the last 50-60yrs. 🤷♂️
