Not like there’s much else worth watching on Netflix these days.
Depends how interested you are in international content. Netflix has most of that.
Especially if you want something semi-lighthearted and around 20-30 minutes.
Its like everything on Netflix is either full drama or dark dramedy with a 40 minute runtime and deep plot.
Deep plots are nice, unfortunately they keep getting cut every couple seasons, so nobody wants to get invested
I watch shows for deep plots which is why I never watch anything produced by streaming services. Every time I get invested into a show, they make it gets cancelled. Sometimes I don’t care if the ending sucks, just give me an ending.
I don’t have an issue with serious and complex stories, but it is an issue if that’s all you make (or at least are known for).
