Ulbrecht spent $730,000 hiring contract killers to murder 5 people who could expose his operation. And Trump bitches about Biden pardoning killers…

Nobody needs to have been killed for it to be a major felony. Evidence was provided in court and it was used in determining his sentencing, but it was decided not to charge him for it.

Do you really care? From wikipedia

Federal prosecutors alleged that Ulbricht had paid $730,000 in murder-for-hire deals targeting at least five people, because they purportedly threatened to reveal the Silk Road enterprise. Prosecutors believe no contracted killing actually occurred. Ulbricht was not charged in his trial in New York federal court with murder for hire, but evidence was introduced at trial supporting the allegations. The district court found by a preponderance of the evidence that Ulbricht probably commissioned the murders.

I guess the big question is - when’s the silk road coming back? And if it does, will it just be a big honeypot operation?

I would have thought there would have been a continuous train of successors to Silk Road since the “first one” was shut down.
