Can you imagine working for $7.25 an hour in 2025!? No wonder red state people are so pissed. Wish they would direct their anger at the corporations and billionaires that are getting richer and richer due to greed while workers suffer…

Funny how close to an electoral map this is. Not that the blue state minimum wages are high enough, but the red States want you to slave away with no dignity

Florida would like a word. And I’d say $15 is closer to the actual minimum you’ll get paid around here.

Looks like Florida got it through a ballot measure so the legislators couldn’t mess it up. Looks like they won’t keep their fingers out of it for long though. They are talking about adding more exceptions.

And they’re mad that there even is a federal minimum because they want to go lower

      It’s so disgusting…

This was my first thought too. Red states have low minimum wage.

The more a country/state’s main industry is based on a simple commodity, the more likely it will be a crappy place to live in for a regular person because they are easily replaceable. The more complex an economy, the better the life of a regular person because training and experience makes them less replaceable, which allows them to have more of a voice.

And now please post such a map with the average living costs. I’d like to know where the best ratio is.

Damn! The fact that there’s anyone with a higher minimum wage than California shocks me.
