Brand new to KBIN n Fedivers concept in general. Am looking to find a magazine for friendship / pen pals / friendship advice. But I realize I’ve no idea how to look and or search for that community. Would anyone please point me in the right direction and/or teach me how to browse look for magazines?

Thanks, I tried that and I guess I was there before too. I type in “friend” n or “friends” but I don’t see anything that would indicate different magazines…

As for the question of Threads vs Posts I’m not sure, but I think it has something to do with content federated from other types of platforms like Mastodon instances.
