The week after that: the same or another person is again found in contempt, because the ruling of the court has’t been enforced.
Some legal interpretations say that contempt of court is not a pardonable offense. I don’t know if those are prevailing in the US.

What about when you’re in a situation where you have to report other anti-MAGA to protect yourself from MAGA? Would you rat out strangers you don’t know to protect yourself and your kids?
The “but my children” excuse does not make you an ally, it makes you a liability and untrustworthy. What if they decide to deport you? You’ll definitely never see your children again. What about other peoples children? Just because they’re not yours, they don’t matter to you? Children, aka the future, depends on you going out and fighting, not hiding behind your kids because “my kids are more important than your kids.” That mindset of fear and capitulation to fascists is exactly what creates fascism, so stop using your kids as a shield from responsibility. You decided to bring your kids into this situation, not us.
There are other ways to help on the frontline that don’t involve picking up a gun and getting shot. On the back end as well, people are needed. You have a unique set of skills, stop giving them to the people that bribe you with money and start using it towards your childrens future.

I have a complicated history, but long story short, my ex (American citizen) convinced me to move to the States with our children, and when we arrived she sabotaged my greencard application leaving me undocumented. I am trying to get legal status through VAWA, but It’s slow.
if I could I would take the kids and return to Europe it would be kidnapping, and if I leave without them, I’ll never see them again.
I am living in constant fear of ICE.

You need 218 representatives to issue articles of impeachment and 67 Senators to convict (remove from office).
That means that you need every single Dem and independent, PLUS 20 Republican Senators and 5 Republican Members of the House. I would love to see anyone suggest a list of who those 25 Republicans might be.
Also, Trump has been impeached by the House twice and it doesn’t seem to have effected his political career negatively.

Right now, anything is something. This is an unprecedented situation in 250 years of America. Things are slowly coming together, but it is new territory. Unlike the developed world, America binds work/health/insurance/vacation/home/car/life very tightly together. Even a week of missed work can result in homelessness, sickness, death. This is by design so the ruling class can limit movement. This all needs to be fixed first thing once we’re done destroying evil, but in the now, we have to work how we can, when we can, where we can.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the corpo media focus on minor aircraft crashes (not all minor, but non-fatal collisions at airports, and personal craft going down are commonplace anytime) is to make people scared to fly to DC.
Donate anything you can afford to local charities, every little bit helps. Funding is being drained all over the place and the ripple effects are only beginning. Write letters to your leadership so they know their constituents are pissed and they better do what they can.
Learn things in your skill-set that may be helpful in the coming chaos, alternate means of communication, computers, networking, radios, transportation, maps, routes, memorizing information.
Store food so you can go without grocery stores for a few months if you have to.
Be proactive on goings on, support protesting Tesla and corpo protests. Don’t buy things. Check out how people just not going to Target has been going. Silly protests like hacking road crossing buttons in Silicon Valley, law suits, letters, anything to slow down the morons that think they’re in charge. It’s boots on the ground, it’s psyops, its money, its visual, its presence, it is everything to cause noise and confusion right back at them.
Delay buying that new iPhone. Cancel Amazon Prime. Read books. Books on history. Stay informed. If you see someone harassed on the street, at the bare minimum, video broadcast it, intervene if you’re brave.
Once the billionaire class wakes up and realizes that we, not an orange blumpkin, nor a muskrat actually make them money, they’ll change their tune or miss out on all that sweet sweet revenue. (Who knows, maybe even grow a conscience, but let us not be delusional.) With or without them, however, we can’t give up on hope.
Even those with the means to leave are doing their part by taking talent away from the US which will cripple the Machine of Evil long-term. They can help from the outside by helping those on the inside stay informed to the real news.
No one thing is going to change this, it has to be all things at the same time.

Im actually a libertarian who supports escalating the movement. I also believe politicians need to be reminded to fear the people. But strawman me away. I think we may have more in common than you think.
It’s been said in some studies that most of the successful resistances to authoritarian regimes rely on peaceful, not violent resistance. That has surprised me too, but it does help to snowball a much larger movement. It makes people less resistant to participating, and also much harder for the news to demonize. Many people that I’ve spoken to say they hate what’s happening, but are afraid to speak out - and they often change their mind when they see others taking stands too.
We understand events like April 5 do not cause immediate change, but it’s highly likely they’ve had slower effects. Harvard choosing to resist the administration, or the Supreme Court ruling in favor of Garcia, might not have happened if they hadn’t seen how much of the nation opposes that administration.
It’s obvious that those studies did not take place in the United States, because it’s historical fact that none of the rights Americans have were ever achieved through peaceful protest.
Telling people you disagree with to leave the country is the most conservative stance you can take. Just join the Republicans if you’re gonna be that far right

Who is going to hold the executive branch accountable? If they ignore the courts there is no one to hold them accountable.

I have three reps I call on the regular (but I think I might start to include my governor’s office too). They (the interns) don’t always pick up. Depends on call volume, time of day, or whether they give a crap. But I highly recommend 5calls.org They do help get some thoughts together based on topic and give you a statement you can read if you need to and they supply the phone numbers for your reps. I go off script all the time and am passionate, but I try hard not to rant.

In no way shape or form is that a “Republican” problem. Democrats have been happily handing ever more power to the Executive for decades. The judges have the authority to deputize number of people required to carry out an arrest warrant in the case of contempt.
I am willing to bet that out of 5.2m there are at least several hundred thousand willing to assist with that.
This would play right into the persecution narrative. It’s basically asking for a shooting war with both the secret service and the proud boys/oath keepers/etc types, at the very least. And I suspect it would be where we see if the military is going to follow illegal orders or not.

No - bounty hunters are specifically for people who skip on their bail, and are hired by private companies. They do not have the judicial authorization to use force. There is no “dead or alive” because of a bounty can’t be brought in, the bail bondsman loses money.
A deputized marshall has the legal protection of the state to use force to apprehend the warranted. Its rarely used because it’s a powerful tool.
