You’ll mentally bond with whichever one you pick so they won’t kill you and you’ll be able to train them.

They’re literally dinosaurs in the same way that humans and other vertebrates are literally fish. Which is to say you can describe them that way taxonomically, but the saying “birds are literally dinosaurs” is misleading and disingenuous.

You can pick whichever dinosaur you want though, if they want a chicken I’m cool with that, but its a boring choice.

Is this the shapeshifting, intelligent kind of dragon? Because I wouldn’t want it as a pet but as a friend. That’s way nicer than having something that all my neighbors will treat the same way so many bigots treat pit bulls.

Are we talking magic wielding fully sentient dragons (forgotten realms style) or animal like simple dragons? The first type could keep humans as pets.

Not fully sentient, smart enough to understand each other’s body language, but not to have conversations with, no magic.

Oh ok so, it boils down to fire breathing flying awesome dinosaurs or plain boring dinosaurs.

First one would be way cooler, but a little bit disaster prone. Would still go with that one though. I’ll take the risk figure something out. Should probably get a house built out of stone.

Simple dragons are just snakes with bowel obstructions so the pigeon they ate fermented and then a peasant stepped on it at night (so they were carrying a torch) and it popped and the fumes made a teensy boom. That’s how people invented dragons ipso facto oceans 11s razor.

I think I go dinosaur and pick a small one. I don’t wanna feed a damn dragon.

Raptors seem like a good pick, I could train it to guard my house, and it probably wont cost a million dollars a month to feed.

I’m guessing that you’d need a big backyard for either … so I’m out.

With a dragon any backyard is your backyard.

Never mess with a dragon. You are soft, tender and taste good with ketchup.
