What sweet kitties! One of my foster kitties was recently sitting on my chest, meowing at me, and pawing at my face, all before 7a on a Saturday.
Furious and shyly worried.
Got our cat an automated feeder as it was cheap at a charity shop. Downside is that now he loves the feeder more than us unless we get some treats out.

For cat owners, yes. Kitties need feeding.
Honestly though, Im surprised they let him sleep in at all. Internet says normal cat behaviour is to paw/ jump on/ headbut the hooman when not awake at food time.

Build yourself a Pee Wee Herman style breakfast machine and never have this problem again. Bonus points if it plays the Danny Elfman song really loudly as the alarm.
