That time starmer gave him the letter from king Charles, he looked at it blankly before giving it back and asking starmer to read it. That really gave me “I can’t read” vibes.
I really hate how em-dashes are now being used as an AI indicator. I’m old—old enough to know how to use them—and have enjoyed the last couple decades of touch keyboards making it easy to type them.

Why should you stop? I prefer to use em dashes (when I’m on my PC. I used to know the alt code for it). I’m not going to stop using them. By the way, I put spaces around my em dashes, but I notice you (and ChatGPT) don’t. Now I have to look up which is correct.
