      I agree but the availability of csam on the internet (real or simulated) reduces the instances of real-world abuse so… take that as you will I guess :/

      Edit: I learned that in college about 7 years ago, but I researched it again and apparently the opposite is true, according to more recent evidence.

        I’m not arguing against rule 34ing these characters.

        But I refuse to believe that the fraction of actual pedophiles on rule34 is that high such that three of the top 11 haven’t even hit puberty yet.

        I think that lots of these numbers comes from some sort of taboo breaking.

          Also there is probably some level of inflation from the characters being present even if they aren’t necessarily part of the act. IE a porn comic where Bart and Lisa are complaining about thumping, cut to Marge and Homer fucking.

          I rather like my hentai and have seen this type of thing frequently enough to say it’s semi common. Though I am not into Simpsons personally, a bit too abstract and too far away from human coloration to enjoy.

        Does it? I used to see this argument a lot on Reddit back in the early days when there were a lot more pedos on there and I don’t really buy it. Are there any actual studies on this? I feel like there have got to be better ways at managing it than that at least from a clinical standpoint

          No clue, but for what it’s worth we know violent video games don’t cause more violence and some studies show they can even reduce it at least so I’d imagine it would extrapolate similarly to other visual media

            The difference is that (almost) everyone has an innate drive towards having sex that they don’t have towards doing violent things. It’s a totally different biochemical process to get horny than to get violent.

              Having taken care of many children, I strongly disagree. Not just punching someone rather than talking it out is a learned thing that’s also reinforced by society (for the most part).

              If there wasn’t an innate violence within humans, human history would look very different, and fascism wouldn’t exist.

              Also, both processes can activate the adrenal axis actually. It’s not totally different, and there’s some similarities.

      Okay, I can’t speak for this extremely fucked up example, but in general it’s very simple:

      1. see shape which sufficiently resembles (partially) naked woman, maybe in suggestive pose
      2. neuron activation
      3. you are now horny

      There is no need to imagine any fucking, seeing the image is enough to get you into the mood, looking at it long enough (or at different images for long enough) will get you most of the way there, and the hand can take care of the rest

        Wait, you don’t imagine elaborate narratives where, say, Adrien Brody’s car breaks down in a stretch in the wilderness with nothing but your cabin for miles. So he walks toward the only structure and I’m there studying mosses and it’s so remote I have a sat phone I let him use to call for help, but it’ll be a while so I make him some tea and we get to talking. Night falls before help comes so I light a fire in the pit and let him borrow a sweater I stole from an ex and pull out a bottle of whiskey I was saving for something special but it’s special enough. It keeps us chatting untill the early hours when a tow truck finally shows and I see him off. When I get home from my studies I find a package waiting for me—it’s the sweater he borrowed, a thank you card, and a bottle of fine whiskey?

        (I’m uncomfortable sexually fantasizing about real people.)

    What else do these all have in common?

    They all have art styles that are purposefully designed to be really cheap and easy to make. The same choices that helped these studios crank out hours upon hours of formulaic content also helps the rule 34 artists.

      Yup. Flat colors, thick ink lines, and very little detail. The goal is for animators to be able to reproduce the art quickly and reliably, to be able to churn out dozens of seasons.

            Perhaps majority is the wrong word, rather she is the most popular with horny humans. Im not referring to humans in general but pointing out that I’m saying Lisa is no. 2 on a ranked list. People are freaking out over Maggie when Lisa is also right there and far higher.

            So I suspect they’re both on the list for the same reason, and Lisa is higher because her adult version is used way more often and is more familiar.
