I’m really loving Pedro Pascal these days.
Karl Urban
Honorable mention: Harry Dean Stanton, Sam Rockwell, Jean Reno…
Sam Rockwell was the only thing good in season three of White Lotus.
Hell I couldn’t get through season 1 so I’ll never know. But Sam Rockwell is awesome so that tracks.
Gary Oldman, Christian Bale, Sam Rockwell, and Joseph Gordon Levitt.
Nathan fillion! His brand of humor and delivery consistently hits just right for me.
I don’t have a singular favorite, but some of the top ones who get me excited just by their casting are (in no particular order):
- Michelle Yeoh
- Shohreh Aghdashloo
- J. K. Simmons
- Henry Cavill
- Rosamund Pike
- Adjoa Andoh
- Stellan, Alexander, and Bill Skarsgård (really, the whole family is great, but these 3 especially)
- Anson Mount
- Charlize Theron
Colin Farrell. Great range and excellent comedic chops.
Jim Carrey
Jennifer Coolidge
Glenn Close and Anthony Hopkins!
Leonardo DiCaprio has been in a lot of all-timer films, probably he’d be on balance my favourite. I do enjoy seeing Oscar Isaac, Merle Streep and Andy Serkis whenever they’re on screen though.
Brian Cranston, Leo DiCaprio, Tom Holland, Zandaya, Florence Pugh just to name a few.
Daniel Day Lewis: Gangs of New York and There Will Be Blood.
Liam Neeson
Oh, also steve buscemi and Willem Dafoe
Jeffrey Wright. Just one good performance after another.
Favorite? Peter Weller.
Second place usually rotates to whatever actor I enjoyed watching last. It’s currently Monkey Man’s Dev Patel.
Sorry, picking one feels wrong. So many greats.
