We are pleased to announce the first release candidate preview release of Jellyfin 10.11.0!
This is a preview release, intended for those interested in testing 10.11.0 before it’s final public release. We welcome testers to help find as many bugs as we can before the final release.
As always, please ensure you stop your Jellyfin server and take a full backup before upgrading!
WIP release notes: https://notes.jellyfin.org/v10.11.0_features
This is the first release that uses the new EF Core database mapper. If you’d like to help test this release, please remember to remove all plugins to make debugging logs as easy as possible.
Wow, this is going to be a complex migration with lots of chances for things to break. Think I’ll sit this version out since I can live without the new features for a little.
I looked at the release notes and wow yeah you’re not kidding, this is going to be a very scary upgrade.
this was a good reminder that my server is still on 10.3.0 and I need to update!!!
Edit: 10.10.3 lol
Whoa, you’re missing a ton of features
Not anymore! Though honestly I can’t tell any difference.
10.3 was barely usable
In what ways? My server has been humming along for months.
10.3.0 is from 6 years ago. Do you mean 10.10.3?
10.3.x had issues for me with ios app, chromecast, hdr, hw acceleration and other stuff I don’t remember
ohhhh yes i suppose i did. the “10.11” got me messed up.
That would have been an impressively outdated install of Jellyfin lol
Still unable to sort episodes by alphabetic file names?
