That’s just basic substance abuse behavior. You get high…you go off about some stupid shit…you sober up, and regret going off about it. Wash, rinse, repeat.

No, he just regrets posting it. In that phrasing, it is still true, meaning the lie alternative is not relevant.

He thought he could get left to love him by shitting on Trump but it turns out people who can critically think have a memory longer than a goldfish.

It doesn’t confirm nor deny the veracity of the posts, if he afterwards says they are false, it’s not contradictory of this statement.

      Good call out.

He now either has to answer to “enabling election fraud” or “public defamation”. Talk about a rock and a hard place.

I used to. then he called a cave rescuer a pedophile.

then I started to think, “Maybe this guy is a bit unhinged…” but I was wrong.

      he was ALOT unhinged.

I remember thinking that he was one bad day away from becoming a supervillain. That day was his trans daughter disowning him, apparently. The only thing I was wrong about was the ‘super’ bit.

Nicknames are for petty people, Elon should get cancer and aids and ebola of his messed up dick and die while on fire.

Except that for narcissists a good, insulting nickname that hurts them in the ego is actually harmful. Not terminal of course, but they don’t deserve to be happy so it’s a small win.

This is concise and reasonable. This would be far, far, faaaar less arbitrary and capricious suffering than he has already inflicted on others. He’d be getting off quite lightly.

Musk’s only remaining fans are fully capable of rewriting their perception of reality to make him still their flawless genius Tony Stark. Same reason why car adverts are more aimed at making new car owners comfortable with their purchase than attracting new buyers.

For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.
