• No, but one time when tripping balls I lost the ability to think without speaking. Usually I have an internal “voice” when thinking about stuff. That time I had to speak out loud just to have thoughts lol

When I lived alone, for sure. I spoke my thoughts out loud constantly, just filling empty space. Now that my partner and I live together, it’s fairly rare. Unless I’m troubleshooting something, and then there’s lots of profanity.

I mean, sometimes my inner monologue turns into talking to myself out loud, otherwise I’m not really sure what you mean.

Don’t be sad. It wants out, thoughts are mostly harmless.

I had to think about this for a minute. I’m generally an honest person, I try not to hide my flaws, I don’t shy away from conflicts and I try not to be judgemental. I don’t think I have a lot of “secret” thoughts. Those that I do have aren’t at risk because they usually involve something that was told to me in confidence and snitches get stitches. I will say though that I don’t particularly enjoy being put in a position where I have to keep a secret.

  • Oh absolutely.

If I’m writing, my face usually contorts to the part I’m on. If a character is sleepy, I yawn, if they’re mad, I snarl, if they’re sad, I’ll pout.

Otherwise, often my intrusive thoughts win. To be fair, my anxiety meds sometimes kick up and “activate” as my psych calls it, which makes me entirely manic and unable to hold onto that impulse control.

    No.

TBF, I don’t really try to keep most things inside anyway, so there’s only a few I need to keep the lid on.
