Saw something like that exactly once at a pizza place. Not particularly swanky, but good food, been there a few times. One time, there was this waiter hustling about that would straight up squat down next to tables to take the order, shoulders barely at table height, absolutely charming guy. 10/10 would order from a squatting waiter again.
