I am as well, but I rarely carry. I’m physically disabled and partially blind; while I have range practice (need to go more often…), in a situation I’m doubtful of my abilities. When I do carry (or just at home) for me it’s personal security in a hypothetical one-on-one encounter, not one-on-many. I acquired mine after the pulse nightclub shooting. Disabled and gay seems like an easy target.
I did get my ex into firearms before we split, and he’s kept it up as an interest and a hobby, acquiring multiple firearms over the years. Though I don’t know if he carries regularly.
Definitely need more pushback and defense, for all of us.

Myself and everyone I know here in Oregon are as well.
Hell, one guy I know has an entire bunker under his yard with an armory I could only dream of.
My good friend has ~12 guns and two safes full of ammo.
The list goes on and on.
