Sounds to me like you’re not considering that they likely have a massive list of priorities to address and a flashlight attachment is simply not even close to the top of the list.

Also, why do these data centers need to be so fucking huge? Why can’t they be put in, you know, older, vacant commercial properties that are generating no rent income right now? You usually don’t get holidays for the first year. After that you start with two weeks. It usually takes much longer to get another week and you might get 4 weeks after 10 years, 15 years in many cases.

Yeah, depending on its age an NVIDIA GPU can be a non-starter. That said, I had a 2060 when I first transitioned to Linux last year and had no issues.

There are clowns in every community and they are typically the loudest ones. Sorry Linux didn’t work out for you this time around. Hardware variables are hard to account for which if I had to bet, hardware weirdness is likely to be the root of your issue.
