Huh, I’ve heard that commercial displays are the way to go. What do you mean when you say they are over engineered?

Pretty sure you’re talking about the Svalboard. I don’t think it uses chunks of words though. Each finger has access to 5 keys and you can map any layout. https://svalboard.com/
But maybe you’re thinking of stenography where you have fewer keys but you press them in combinations (chords) instead of individually. That looks crazy fast. https://youtu.be/7jVXrX5TDk4 https://www.artofchording.com/introduction/#stenography
I played through kotor 1 and 2 recently and experienced a lot of crashes. Eventually made it through, but prepare for some frustration.
This is a really wholesome view, if only it were more common. The comment you responded to sure seems bitter, but I can see where they are coming from. Most people I know are carrying some level of trauma passed down from parents that did not fully consider the responsibilities they were taking on. Plenty of people have kids for selfish reasons and then fail to take responsibility for the negative ways they shape them. It sounds like you have been fortunate.
Keep it up! I finished in my mid 30s. Toughest thing I’ve ever done, but entirely worth it.
It opens up options that your future self may want/need. There are many potential barriers to treatment, you really don’t want to deal with these when you actually need to rely on those services.
Advice depends on location, some systems are harsh. Try to find groups in your area. You will be responsible for your outcome. Health professionals provide guidance and facilitate treatment. Medications can make things easier and enable more reliable behavior, but can be quite user-specific. Professional guidance highly advised.
Try reading this. It’s dense, but extremely informative. https://annas-archive.org/* md5/1a4afb16e9cd8cd7799697ad09c4d08a

Nah I’m a different person who happened to wander by and saw you expressing your fucked up misinformed beliefs while spewing hatred, vitriol, and putting words in other people’s mouths that they never said. Get bent.
You’re a real piece of shit.
What in the fuck.
My pleasure! It was fun thinking about how each series stands out. Enjoy your assimilation.
Depends how well you tolerate the pacing and quality of older media.
TOS (The Original Series) is wild and fantastical in its own special way. It’s not up to modern standards in many ways so I personally wouldn’t recommend starting here.
TNG (The Next Generation) holds up much better. Full of space exploration and philosophical dilemmas. This is a good starting point if you want to watch by release order, but be warned that it takes a few seasons to really get good.
DS9 (Deep Space 9) picks up after the events of TNG but is mainly focused on a space station orbiting a contested planet. Less exploration, more politics and the consequences of war. Personal favorite but probably not the best starting point.
Voyager follows the crew of a ship that gets sent to the other side of the galaxy and has to find their way home. More adventurous with the writing because everything here is new, and it mostly works well. Less connected to the other series so starting here works just fine.
Enterprise is a prequel series and it’s pretty divisive. Some great characters and history building, but they go hard on the “American space pioneers” theme. Just watch the intro theme. Please don’t start here.
Discovery is the first series made for modern audiences and it shows. Fast paced, high action, gorgeous visuals, and woke af. It’s Trek for short attention spans. It’s actually really good for the first few seasons, then it goes off the rails. Start here if you want it fast and loud.
Picard is a follow up of the captian from TNG but now he’s old and retired. Packed full of fan service moments. Don’t watch this until you’ve seen TNG.
Lower Decks is currently airing. It’s animated, silly, and has a lot of fun with the franchise. Great stuff here that you will appreciate more if you get the references, but if you want fun, short episodes then go for it.
Strange New Worlds is also currently airing and is quickly becoming my new favorite. It’s a prequel to TOS and has found a wonderful balance between old and new Trek styles. I think this is the best place to start if you’re used to modern production quality and have never seen anything else in the franchise.
There are a ton of movies you could start with as well but I’ll leave it at that for now.
Yes definitely pull it out. Celebrate any progress in the right direction. Write down one word. Fill out one tiny section. Now positively reinforce it - that section was easy, nice. If that’s what you get done today then so be it. The next section will be easier.
