Same here in the US, though I’ll say as someone actually colorblind, it’s not the easiest to decipher the red/yellow when at speed until you’re somewhat close. Normally not an issue since anything resembling red=start slowing down, but there are situations where a standard light may start acting as a single flashing red or yellow, and that can be tough to figure out at speed. Flashing reds are supposed to have stops signs here as far as I know, but there’s been at least one intersection that hasn’t had them, which certainly gives me some anxiety about taking that as a rule. The system works alright enough, but it’s definitely frustrating that we settled on red/green for things when that’s the most common color blindness. I have some strong opinions on bathroom indicators, particularly in airport bathrooms where the lighting is often sub par too

I’m not actually sure what happens if you have multiple cloud devices on the same network, but I think the cloud versions often have some impact to the capabilities. The routers might have less VPN throughput in the cloud version, or only able to run one or two of their services at once instead of all since they’re also tasked with routing etc, don’t remember the specifics but stuff like that. It’s also confusing as they have lines like the dream machine that combine multiple capabilities into one, and it ends up being a mess trying to figure out what exactly is the best route to go. Frustrating but I’ll say the equipment itself has been quite nice spare for the occasionally buggy software

Took me awhile to figure this out when I was first considering getting their stuff. Basically, you need some kinda server on the network running their programs to manage their devices. The “cloud” devices include this capability, otherwise you’ll need either their cloud key or to set up your own server running it. It’s definitely poorly explained and the weird pricing schemes don’t make any sense really.

That’s one of the benefits of the smaller community here too, the block button actually feels like it does something. If you’re frustrated by comments that add nothing to anything or are fishing for drama etc, a short commitment to blocking repeat offenders really improves things quickly

I never really understood why etcher was the choice, it was a crazy bloated program that was like 100 or 150mb? To do the same job as Rufus could do in like a dozen or so, and if you’re on Linux you can just use gnome disks or something, never had any issues there either. Just made no sense to me why they recommended it in the first place.
