lol. well I dont live in the EU thats true. seems like you’re the misinformed one. its pretty common for ‘electricity usage’ and ‘delivery’ to be separated. hence my question. dont worry if you struggle understanding your bill we can help if you want.
*state dependent. ;)
Are you sure its the actual cost of the electricity or the fact that many other costs are often bundled into your bill?
dont even need the port forwarding to torrent just get a client that supports network tunnelling.
standing isnt some mythical unambiguous concept. in fact its almost entirely a legal fiction. times when standing should be granted its not and times when it shouldnt be it is. trying to make an argument that standing invalidates my point is fairly silly, since the very existence of this law has a chilling effect. denying that is foolish.
Yes, its additional cost which acts as a moat by increasing development costs. now you need to design your new connector and make sure its compatible with the existing standard.
If I’m a company who builds widgets and this new startup will have a better design you damn well bet i’m going to sue them to increase costs and decrease the likely hood they’ll succeed.
uh huh and when the company is sued into oblivion proving their tech is better then what? the problem with laws like this (and I generally support it) is that they give bad actors ways to club others to stifle competition.
Ah yes nix… The famously immutable distro. Yeah 100% pebcac.
I suspect your issues stem not from hardware incompatibility but outdated kernel/applications. If i had to guess you run one of the ‘stable’ distros. Which translates to dealing with bugs for longer.
Nice of you to out yourself Robert Sterling, CFO.
I’m not getting trapped up in semantics.
that is literally what the law comes down to.
you mean you slid right on by an understanding of how security infrastructure works. since one always assumes credentials will be compromised.
compromising a keypair is a huge win. lets you impersonate the domain. shorter validation periods = smaller windows of compromised situations.
basically the smaller you make the window the less manual intervention and the less complicated infrastructure gets. currently TLS systems need a way to invalidate certificates. get them down to a day and suddenly that need just disappears. vastly simplifying the code and the system. 6 days is a huge improvement over 90 days.
its not just that, it includes forcing people to live with completely treatable unnecessary chronic pain or issues.
OP is going to get so rekt’d.
if you dont have a medical or biochemist degree (and probably even then if this is your take) i suggest you take your nonsense elsewhere because frankly its incorrect and it has caused untold problems by preventing adequate care from being administered for people’s mental health. for example one doesnt need to look any further than psychedelics and depression caused by issues in the parasympathetic nervous system. most addicts are self medicating (often poorly and ineffectually) because of assholes like yourself limiting their and our ability to treat them effectively.
also who cares? everyone has flaws. at elast his were targetted correctly.
of which there are numerous in this case.
quants are pretty basic. switching from floats to ints (faster instruction sets) are the well known issues. both those are related to information theory, but there are other things I legally can’t mention. shrug. suffice to say the model sizes are going to be decreasing dramatically.
edit: the first two points require reworking the base infrastructure to support which is why they havent hit widespread adoption. but the research showing that 3 bits is as good as 64 is intuitive once you tie the original inspiration for some of the AI designs. that reduction alone means you can get 21x reduction in model size is pretty solid.
