I personally know two people who’ve cancelled US trips, one of which is because she’s gay.
Really wondering when they’ll realise just how fucked they are.

Belgian chiming in, people here really have* developed a strong distaste for the US. I’d say 90% of people I know don’t care at all for the monarchy, but this is blasted in the news as an example no one is safe from USA’s shenanigans.
Professors and Universities are condemning this, it’s such a major step in the wrong direction once again.
It’s to prevent you from becoming flying debris
Yeah that’s what I’m trying to avoid, using grep displays all of my options at once.
You can use regular strings! Can’t tell you how often* I use:
history | grep docker
history | grep <search>
I like seeing different usages
You’d be surprised how caked a charge port can be, you know you’ve cleaned it correctly when the plug goes in all the way and doesn’t stick out a bit.
When it still doesn’t connect correctly and/or you feel play in de cable/chargeport, it might just need replacing.
Commentiquette fans in a nutshell
Oh ofcourse, but there being no price difference is definitely new for dell. I needed a Windows laptop at the time, but bought the Ubuntu one because it was literally €200 cheaper.
Edit: This is CRAZY, just checked Dell website. Buying one with Ubuntu instead of W11 Home will cost you €250 MORE. That’s insane.
Huh that might be new, when I bought my XPS 13 from them in 2019 it was a 200 euro difference when buying with Windows vs Ubuntu
I agree, the encryption should be deliberate choice. And we’ve said nothing yet about the impact on performance.
You used to almost be forced to make a recovery CD or USB when encrypting a drive, now people don’t even know how ‘important’ the MS account actually is.
Bypassnro is the old method, no longer working since 24H2. I’ve tested this method on GitHub and it works for normal AND S-mode devices.
All the time, then people get ran around in circles, are given a too technical explanation and give up more often than not.
The encryption is not inherently a bad thing, but forcing people into account creation is where the trouble starts. With piss-poor customer support as the cherry on top, this should never be allowed.
Floss, drink water and live active!
Just yell 10! and you’ve counted way further already

‘The best anti-virus is common sense [current year]’ - was a meme more than decade ago and is still true. Linux is not safer than any other OS.
The reason why people think otherwise is because statistically, when bad actors release malware it’s made for the OS with the largest market share. Which for computers, is still Windows by a landslide.
Looks just like my brother’s cat! Shea meet Spock.
Mostly the people making the decisions, but don’t feel too bad, the EU is rapidly shifting to the right as well. The main positive takeaway is I’ve never seen the EU this unified.
