That’s exact it. I called this even before November. I said they would all run their mouths and scream gEnOciDE at everyone including themselves, and that if/when Trump got elected, they’d reroll as victims of their own bullshit.

I enjoy Lemmy for the most part, but this popular narrative that you continue to correctly point out gets so tiring on here. The self-ownership, or self-sabotage by these self-righteous, elementary level critical thinking skills having, non-voters is sickening. If I didn’t vote, I wouldn’t take it as some moral victory against a fucked up system, I’d just accept my apathy.
And they’ll do it again because they simply don’t understand how math and a two party, FPtP system works.
