In all honesty I agree with your initial statement in that I too would and do want proper justice for crimes against children, but then I’m immediately smacked in the face by the reality that we aren’t even close to seeing any of that kind of justice and all our tough talk doesn’t scare them one bit. We are grinding the same axe here, but i’m very perturbed by all this which has made me eager to fight and i’m sorry if I directed fighting words to you personally. We’re both strangers to eachother here after all, I have no way of knowing who you are, if 99.999…% of the time that sort of justice you mentioned never happens then how am I to NOT think you would be the same? I’m sure you’d WANT to burn down the school, much like I want to burn the Sacklers for killing 12 of my friends in the opioid epidemic, much like their parents who were deceived into dodgy perscriptions by doctors probably want to burn the whole thing down, nobody ever does.
I will happily ruin my life protecting my children. I would gladly die for them. I understand you feel it’s safe to express the token skeptical mindset online, but I am a real person and frankly I just do not appreciate the assumptions you made about me based on literally no knowledge of who I am. You need to remember that there is someone on the other side of the screen man. I guess you’re trying to be polite at this stage, but you are still insisting that I wouldn’t do anything. I have had cops actually break into my home at 2am. I have more experience with “real shit“ than you might think, and I am confident about my statement above. If my kids’ school handed them over to the feds, I would become quite violent.
