finna rizz up some FOSS contributors
I’ve upgraded to ex
recently. No point in living in the stone ages!
Ah yeah you wouldn’t say the L at the end of ‘cul’, right? Sometimes in English people don’t make the L sound in ‘cool’ if they are trying to be particularly cool.
I told this to some French speaking friends when I first found out a few years ago and they were totally non-plussed. Seems like only native anglophones enjoy this fact.
Then again, in France younger people might use the English word “cool” despite the fact it sounds like the French for ass (“cul”). Probably used to it.
Do you name every FOSS project? This is uncannily close to what an actual open source project would be called, including the logic behind it.
Thanks for explaining. Using numbers as political messaging is a bit weird. I’d only ever seen alt-right/crazy people do it before with 1488.
Edit: I believe you’d call it a shibboleth
What does 8647 refer to? I feel like I’m missing something obvious.
Also not sure about using the picture of the manic looking liberal lady as a template for this. She probably hates Trump as much - if not more - than you. Plus she’s had alt-right people posting these unflattering pictures of her online for years.
Not really helpful if you are on another distro but gentoo has a savedconfig
flag for the package that lets you store a permanent header file for the DWM variables in with the package manager config files. It integrates really nicely.
Might be a side effect of being raised by an oncologist
The currency of Turkey is cheap and international investors don’t have any faith in their government to run the economy. The latter means that there is less foreign investment, so coupled with the aforementioned cheap currency, properties are cheap there.
The only times I struggle to admit I’m wrong is if my interlocutor has an attitude I find grating. Sometimes in online debates I just don’t reply and give people the last word instead of continuing a heated conversation if I think they have a point.
Otherwise happy to admit that I’m wrong if someone cites a study or whatever that says something counter to what I’m claiming.
I think many social “issues” can be resolved with empathy after speaking to an individual on a human level instead of grappling with an abstract “issue”.
Yes, I’d like to think I’m open to having my mind changed about things. I try to follow both left wing and right wing media (New Statesman and The Spectator respectively in the UK) to try to get both points of view on current affairs.
Cancer is an umbrella term for a huge variety of diseases and once you reach a certain age you’re likely to have at least one of them. It’s just not worth treating if you are in your 80s/90s.
I kind of think the “fuck cancer” online discourse is a bit misguided since it’s the price we pay to have regenerating cells.
Yes, combination of the exhange rate and external market factors
Edit: Might swap DS for Sekiro
In Scotland we had a VHS the class watched when we were 9/10 which had a basic diagram of intercourse. The voiceover said, “Note how they fit together, like a jigsaw puzzle.”
Seared into my brain. I remember asking if the sperm from the video “could think” like tadpoles did. Never got a proper answer!
Then secondary school had lessons about the reproductive cycle in mandatory biology class. Slightly later, when we were 14 or so, they had demonstrations about how to put on condoms.
Edit: btw does anyone know if sperm can think? k thanks
Argentina has made huge strides towards fixing their inflation whereas Turkey has a megalomaniac leader who refuses to even ackowledge it exists.
I find it a little bit useful to supplement a search engine at work as a dev but it can’t write code properly yet.
