Recent report I read and heard about was them staking out elementary school “graduations.” Caused parents to have to flee, which was rather depressing. The kids are likely birthright citizens, but even then, parents are afraid of deportation without representation (at least, according to interviews by KCRW/NPR).
FYI btw, it’s like the last week of school here in LA for most districts, so any of these stories are still very plausible.
California summer (the season/weather) starts and ends later than most places, so the later school starts the less kids and teachers have to bake in underfunded non-air conditioned classrooms.
I’m up in Merced, the kids got out last week, and that’s actually kinda late for the central valley. It’s probably different for you guys because SoCal is physically closer to hell, whereas the central valley is spiritually closer to it.

You say that like it matters to the fucking Mustard Mussolini.
God damn the school year goes long in LA

Well, you’re closer to Modesto so your claim that you’re further from hell is debatable :P
Well, you’ve got me there. Modesto fucking sucks, dawg.
