IIRC, that happened a few months ago, not now. A lot of schools are out for the summer already anyway. School staff did a great job of making the feds fuck off.

Now imagine how the parents of Uvalde felt. Police showed up, and not only did nothing, but actively prevented OTHER parents, who were showing up to storm the grounds to shoot the shooter themselves. But the police protected the shooter, causing the deaths of more kids. If memory serves me right, 12 kids had died before parents showed up. And something like 37 died by days end.

Meaning, even if the police did nothing, and allowed the parents to go through, parents would have shot the shooter and saved 25 more kids.

Imagine knowing your kid is dead because police were afraid.

Don’t worry I already had a discussion re: uvalde the other day with somebody who was bootlicking. We don’t call cops in this house.

Wait until people start looking into how and why mobs were originally formed in the 1920’s. Police are selfish, opportunistic thugs in any age. Sometimes communities need to create their own police force to save themselves from the cops.

I doubt it. American parents have their kids shot to pieces at schools and do nothing about it, assuming you’re an american I have my doubts you’d make any effort towards justice.

Everyone talks like they’re Liam Neeson from ‘Taken’ but the reality is no schools or ICE facilities were burned down by any parent or member of the community who’s children were abducted by unidentified feds. The government aren’t afraid because people like you blow hot air all day but they call your bluff over and over and win every time, I see a lot of talk but only two examples of somebody ante-ing up and doing something about it, and one of them missed by centimeters.

You don’t know anything about me or what I would do or have done. So I don’t appreciate this axe grinding you’ve targeted me for.

I’m sorry, I don’t mean you personally. In all honesty I agree with your initial statement in that I too would and do want proper justice for crimes against children, but then I’m immediately smacked in the face by the reality that we aren’t even close to seeing any of that kind of justice and all our tough talk doesn’t scare them one bit. We are grinding the same axe here, but i’m very perturbed by all this which has made me eager to fight and i’m sorry if I directed fighting words to you personally. We’re both strangers to eachother here after all, I have no way of knowing who you are, if 99.999…% of the time that sort of justice you mentioned never happens then how am I to NOT think you would be the same? I’m sure you’d WANT to burn down the school, much like I want to burn the Sacklers for killing 12 of my friends in the opioid epidemic, much like their parents who were deceived into dodgy perscriptions by doctors probably want to burn the whole thing down, nobody ever does.

I will happily ruin my life protecting my children. I would gladly die for them. I understand you feel it’s safe to express the token skeptical mindset online, but I am a real person and frankly I just do not appreciate the assumptions you made about me based on literally no knowledge of who I am. You need to remember that there is someone on the other side of the screen man. I guess you’re trying to be polite at this stage, but you are still insisting that I wouldn’t do anything. You do not know who I am. You know nothing about me other than the comments you have seen thus far.

I have had cops actually break into my home at 2am. I have more experience with “real shit“ than you might think, and I am confident about my statement above. If my kids’ school handed them over to the feds, I would become quite violent.

expect way worse in future. both parties are ok with burning children alive or starving them to death if it means more campaign money.

Recent report I read and heard about was them staking out elementary school “graduations.” Caused parents to have to flee, which was rather depressing. The kids are likely birthright citizens, but even then, parents are afraid of deportation without representation (at least, according to interviews by KCRW/NPR).

FYI btw, it’s like the last week of school here in LA for most districts, so any of these stories are still very plausible.

California summer (the season/weather) starts and ends later than most places, so the later school starts the less kids and teachers have to bake in underfunded non-air conditioned classrooms.

I’m up in Merced, the kids got out last week, and that’s actually kinda late for the central valley. It’s probably different for you guys because SoCal is physically closer to hell, whereas the central valley is spiritually closer to it.
